Over the past few years, I’ve had a lot of people reach out with questions about starting,
improving, or scaling their farm or market garden.
I’ve always tried to help when I can, but with the demands of running a full-time operation, I’m
no longer able to offer free one-on-one advice.
These consulting options allow me to continue helping growers while keeping time on the farm a
priority.
What This Is...
This is practical, experience-based guidance built on over 25 years of running a commercial
vegetable operation.
Everything shared comes from real-world systems, real numbers, and what has actually worked
(and not worked) on our farm.

Most questions can be covered in a 30–60 minute call. For more in-depth help, on-farm
consulting may be a better fit.
On-Farm Consultation (Your Farm)
Best for in-depth, hands-on help at your location.
- Walk your operation
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities
- Discuss systems, layout, and improvements
$750 per day
or
$100 per hour (6-8 hour minimum)
Travel & Distance
Travel is calculated based on distance from our farm.
- Within 60 miles: No additional charge
- Beyond 60 miles: $0.75 per mile (round trip)
- Overnight travel: Lodging + mileage
Lodging will be billed at cost (typically $100–$150 per night depending on location).

All consulting must be scheduled and paid for in advance.
Once your request is submitted, you’ll receive a payment link to confirm your session.
